Forschung zur Kniegesundheit
Seit über zwei Jahrzehnten engagiere ich mich neben meiner Tätigkeit als Fachärztin für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie auch intensiv in der wissenschaftlichen Forschung. Während meiner Stationen an den Universitätskliniken in München, Bern (Schweiz) und Brisbane (Australien) konnte ich unter exzellenten Bedingungen forschen. Derzeit schließe ich meine Habilitation zur Privatdozentin an der Universitätsklinik Freiburg ab (voraussichtlich Ende 2025).
Meine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen:
- Behandlungsmethoden bei Meniskus- und Kreuzbandverletzungen
- Posttraumatische Rehabilitation des Kniegelenks
- Anatomische und biomechanische Besonderheiten des weiblichen Knies
- Longevity (Ernährung, Schlaf und Sport) und Kniegesundheit
Ich verfüge über umfassende Erfahrung in allen Phasen wissenschaftlicher Projekte, von der Konzeptentwicklung über die Studienplanung bis zur Publikation.
